Damaged/Scratched Goods
We recommend a thorough inspection of all goods be made before they are signed for. This is particularly important for baths. We can accept no responsibility for damaged or scratched goods once the goods have been signed for.
Delivery of goods
We recommend that all goods be checked against accompanying paperwork to ensure that the correct goods have been received in the quantity ordered before any signature is given.
Defects
In the event of any article supplied proving to be defective, either in material or in workmanship, we undertake (at our option) to replace or repair such articles free of charge, which shall be the limit of our liability, provided that the complaint is made within a reasonable period following delivery/collection. We shall be under no liability whatsoever for the cost of removing or re-fixing damaged articles or for any other consequential loss or damage, direct or in direct. In the case of goods supplied but not manufactured by us, the purchaser can only claim against any warranty or guarantee provided by the manufacturer.
Restocking/Cancellation.
Goods cancelled whilst in transit to us, as well as goods left with us and not collected within one month of ordering, will have a restocking charge applied and be sent back to our supplier.
Restocking charge will be 25%. No restocking of any kind will be accepted more than 14 days after delivery/collection.
A credit note will be issued for any returned goods which will have a one months use by date. Refunds will only be given subject to statutory rights anything over £25.00 will be in the form of a company cheque.
Goods Supplied ~ Payment
Goods ordered must be paid for in full. Full payment must be cleared before delivery/
collection. Any balances will be receive an interest charge of bank rate plus 4% and goods will remain the property of the company until payment is cleared.
Delivery Date
Every effort is made to complete delivery in accordance with the stated delivery times. These times are quoted in good faith; time not being of the essence. We cannot, however, be held responsible for delays caused by manufactures, by suppliers or carriers or for any other reason outside our immediate control.
Special Conditions
Any special conditions included by the customer are binding only where they are not at variance with any of the terms or conditions stated above, or when there is written confirmation from the principle of the company agreeing to any changes in the standard conditions.
CONSUMER PROTECTION
Customers should note that many items supplied by us can be potentially dangerous to Health & safety, particularly if proper safeguards are not taken at all times.
Customers are advised to ask for further Health & Safety advice relating to any particular product or consignment.
This includes such items as acids, glues, fluxes, cleaners, freezing chemicals, and other chemicals. Bad plumbing practice can cause the spread of disease.
Gas & Electric Regulations state that a properly qualified fitter must carry out certain work.
